Ana Alvarez

Ana Alvarez has a career in the aerospace and defence sector that spans for more than 20 years. She is an expert in military aviation, particularly in its commercial aspects, starting with definition of needs from the customer to the after-sales support activities. Ana held different positions in Europe before she was posted in Asia (Indonesia in 2012 and Malaysia in 2016) for Airbus Defence and Space: Marketing Director, Services Sales Regional Director and Business Development Director, which allowed to accrue deep knowledge and understanding of the governmental policies and strategies for the development of indigenous military industry and capabilities.
Nurmaria Sarosa

Nurmaria Sarosa is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various fields, including aviation and logistics. She has held several positions in Cardig International, a holding company with business units in airport services and logistics, including EVP Corporate Secretary and Corporate Affairs. In addition to her work in Cardig International, she has held various positions in other organizations such as Selaras Logistik Indonesia and Bank Rakyat Indonesia, where she currently serves as an Independent Commissioner. Nurmaria has received extensive training in risk management, good corporate governance, leadership, investor relations, sustainability reporting, brand management, human capital development, corporate social responsibility, and public relations, and has participated in several webinars related to the aviation industry.
Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dr Zakri Abdul Hamid

Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dr Zakri is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse range of roles and accolades. He has served as the Science Advisor to the Prime Minister of Malaysia and co-chaired the UN’s “Millennium Ecosystem Assessment.” He is the founding Chair of the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) and holds positions in various advisory boards and organizations. With expertise in crop science, biodiversity, and science diplomacy, he has received numerous prestigious awards and honors. His contributions to sustainable development and environmental sustainability have had a significant impact globally, showcasing Malaysia’s efforts in this field.
Professor Dato' Hj. Ahmad Zahir Hj. Mokhtar

Professor Dato’ Hj. Ahmad Zahir has an extensive educational background, including being a Chartered Fellow in Air Transportation from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (1990-2017). He also obtained a Master of Science degree in Transportation Planning from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (1994-1996). Additionally, he completed aircraft maintenance training and apprenticeship programs at MAS and RMAF College Kinrara. He currently holds the position of Professor at UniKL MIAT since January 2018 and previously served as the Dean from June 2004 to November 2010. Prior to that, he worked as the MAA Manager at Malaysia Airlines, overseeing support services functions such as marketing, quality assurance, finance, and logistics at Malaysia Airlines Academy from 2002 to 2004.
Mr. Jean-Bernard Boura

Mr Jean-Bernard Boura, a French citizen and aeronautical engineer, has had a diverse and successful career in the aviation industry. Graduating from Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC), he began as Chairman of AERODYN, overseeing the design of the JAR 23 amphibious aircraft. He later held leadership positions at Dassault Aviation for over 15 years, including involvement in operational feedback for Falcon aircraft at Air Alsie. In 2012, he became the CEO of Sapura Aero in Malaysia, focusing on business aviation services. JB’s expertise extends to aviation incident investigations and risk mitigation. Currently, he leads Pen Aviation, offering consulting, project management, aircraft sales, and UAV operations, while also co-founding the development of a large cargo VTOL drone.
Dato’ Shamsul Kamar Samsudin

Dato’Shamsul began his career in the aviation industry in 1993 through an apprenticeship program with Malaysia Helicopter Services (MHS). With extensive training in the United Kingdom and Malaysia, he acquired multiple licenses and type ratings in areas such as radio communication, navigation, radar, automatic pilots, electrical systems, and instruments. Throughout his career, he has been involved in aircraft maintenance, repairs, and recovery operations. He founded and managed aviation companies, obtaining certifications for maintenance and design from the Malaysian Department of Civil Aviation. Committed to fostering skilled engineers in Malaysia, he continues to contribute to the industry through his latest venture, Galaxy Aerospace (M) Sdn. Bhd.
